    New Mexico Humanitarian Award

Regina Turner Humanitarian AwardIn August 2010, NMHRP executive director, Regina Turner was proud to be a recipient of the New Mexico Humanitarian Award. The award recognizes those whose efforts serve to raise awareness of the spirit of humanity and to inspire individuals, organizations, and businesses to pursue humanitarian goals. The award is presented to those who have embodied an outstanding spirit of humanity in a local, national, or international capacity. For her efforts to promote mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation, and lasting peace among all people, Regina was recognized for bringing thought provoking programs to more than 200,000 New Mexico students and teachers since 1995 that encourage youth to think about the dangers of discrimination and the importance of respecting differences.
